Acupuncture

Five Element acupuncture focuses on balancing the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal and water) in the body, with each element associated with different emotions, organs and energies. This holistic approach aims to treat the root cause of a range of physical and emotional issues.

Cupping

Cupping therapy involves placing suction cups on the skin to create a vacuum. Another adjunctive tool to Five Element acupuncture, this ancient technique can help to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation and promote healing for physical or emotional issues.

Gua-sha

Gua-sha is an ancient Chinese healing technique that involves stroking the skin with a massage tool to improve circulation and reduce inflammation. Gua-sha is used as an adjunctive tool within Five Element acupuncture, often helpful for patients with musculoskeletal issues.

Moxibustion

The practice of Moxibustion entails burning the herb mugwort on or near the skin to stimulate acupuncture points and offer healing. Moxibustion can be a helpful tool when used in combination with acupuncture as part of a bespoke treatment.
